In the year 1995, Mr. K. C. Karunanithi established the organization Sri Sivaa Textiles and began producing Pure Silk Dhoties & Fabrics, supplying the goods to India.
Sri Sivaa Textiles deals only in Pure Silk Dhoties, Shirtings, and Angvastram. Given the recent online market, we've decided to move to an online platform.
In 2020, Mr. K. Anbalagan Karunanithi converted the business into an online platform and introduced the new shop as Sri Bal Ganesh Textiles and branded it as “Vimayam”.
From 2020 to 2022, Vimayam was only focusing on the Silk dhoti and fabrics. In 2023, the Cotton fabrics, Pooja Dhoties, Angavastram, and Towels on the online Platform and in support of online Indian Market Places like Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho, the sales are increasing rapidly.
Now in the year 2026, our brand Vimayam is a well-known brand and a perfect place for all types of dhotis and pooja items. We introduced all the items in a single place, vimayamdhotis.com.
